Shelby True, executive director of Riverton Enhanced Senior Living and former zookeeper at Elmwood Park Zoo, organized a special trip for two residents to enjoy a private giraffe feeding in honor of National Zookeeper Week. Residents Nora Harford and Rich Kreidler shared their excitement over the memorable visit. The event celebrated True’s connection to the Zoo and highlighted Riverton’s commitment to creating enriching experiences for its residents. Elmwood Park Zoo, which marked its 100th anniversary in 2024, continues to promote wildlife conservation and education.
